Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do I need an appointment when I go to have my sample collected?
A. No. All patient service centers are walk in collection centers. It is advised to call ahead and make sure the office is open and functioning prior to your visit.

Q. How much blood is taken during my blood draw?
A. Approx 20 ML. To make a comparison, when you donate blood, you give upwards of 500 ML. Your body will replace the quantity of blood taken within 30 minutes of your collection. This is a very minimal amount of blood.

Q. Can I have all of my family members collected?
A. Yes, all individuals of all age groups can have their Vital Test™ completed. Children under 18 years of age must have a parent present for the sample collection.

Q. Does my insurance cover this blood work?
A. Not generally. Most insurance companies only pay for blood work when there is an actual medicinal problem occurring within the body. With the Original Fast Foods diet we are tracking the improvement in the blood work, and most if not all individuals are not suffering from a problem that would warrant blood work to be ordered by a physician. In addition, most physicians could not order the extent of the blood work that we do because the insurance company would not warrant it. They generally only pay for blood work that correlates to the diagnosis or symptoms.

Q. Does Medicaid/Medicare cover the cost of my blood work?
A. No. Medicare and Medicaid only pay for blood work that is triggered by a medicinal problem occurring within the body.

Q. Is my order secure on the internet?
A. Yes your order is processed and transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection with 128-bit encryption. This is the standard for all internet transactions.
